Job Description:
A company is looking for a Freelance Writer specializing in
Automotive News.
Key Responsibilities
Claim news and evergreen article topics from a selection of
assignments
Pitch relevant and timely news stories related to the site's areas
of coverage
Research and write 300- to 900-word articles in a custom CMS
Required Qualifications
A background in engineering, mechanics, or experience working at an
automaker, dealership, or supplier
A deep understanding of the automotive industry, vehicle
engineering, and technology
Minimum three years of editorial experience writing and/or
editing
Published work on topics including road safety, ADAS technology,
and autonomous driving
Experience with building content in a CMS and familiarity with the
Associated Press Stylebook
