Our Electrical Engineers focus primarily on the design of building-related projects including healthcare, higher educational facilities, large commercial projects, and local government projects using Revit and AutoCAD software.Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and provide guidance to a team of engineers
• Develop electrical system designs of a given project based on scope of work and/or client RFPs
• Provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of electrical systems for a variety of market types
• Conduct existing building surveys and documentation of existing electrical systems
• Develop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
• Write and edit project specifications
• Prepare detailed design documents, reports, and studies
• Perform code compliance research
• Coordinate work with other disciplines
• Provide construction administration services
• Serve as the primary contact for clients
• Assist in the procurement of new work including the development of client relations and participation in project interviewsQualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Drafting
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical design
  • PE License (preferred)
  • Familiarity with codes, standards, and design guidelines
  • Hands-on experience with the latest versions of AutoCAD, REVIT, MS Office, and engineering calculation and performance simulation softwareSkills/Abilities:
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-discipline team environment
    • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in the face of shifting projects and deadlines
    • A positive attitude with colleagues and clients
