Survey Party Chief Job Details:

• Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift
• Pay Rate: up to $35/hr +Overtime & Per Diem

  • Lead a survey crew in fieldwork, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform boundary, topographic, construction, and control surveys.
  • Operate and maintain survey instruments, including GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
  • Interpret engineering and survey plans, maps, and legal descriptions.
  • Communicate with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure project success.
  • Ensure field data is collected, processed, and delivered accurately and on time.
  • Maintain safety standards and compliance with industry regulations. Survey Party Chief Job Requirements:
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in land surveying, with leadership experience preferred.
    • Proficiency in operating survey instruments (GPS, robotic total stations, levels, etc.).
    • Strong understanding of boundary laws, construction layouts, and topographic surveys.
    • Experience with surveying software such asAutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, etc.
    • Ability to lead and mentor crew members.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
