Our manager will come with a purpose and the intent to support collaborative problem solving, as well as solid experience with electronic charting and keeping ALL the balls in the air!An educator's mindset and belief that our staff is most successful when they are empowered with the knowledge to be their best.Prominent leadership characteristics like professionalism, critical thinking, autonomy, and positivity. Our ideal manager is intuitive and most comfortable when working with the team.A current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia, a minimum of one (1) year of experience with management or supervisory in geriatrics and be knowledgeable of state and federal regulations in the long-term care and assisted living setting.Your Responsibilities as the Unit Manager at Seaside will include:Ensuring nursing care is provided, staffing is maintained, and all programs, policies, and medical regimens are followed.Examining, improving, and developing policies and procedures for our resident's safety and the team's success.Working collaboratively with a progressive DON in a manner that supports and enhances the department's goals.Performing clinical nursing care as needed.
