Job Description:
A company is looking for a Principal Security Detection
Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain security detection and prevention rules and
capabilities
Develop and manage rules for security event alerting and incident
response
Lead security event detection efforts and serve as an escalation
point for security alerts
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of information security experience
Extensive knowledge of SIEM, WAF, EDR, DFIR, and CTI
Experience in multiple SOCs or MSSPs
Preferred certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
