CAD Technician Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM
• Pay Rate: $18 to $23 per hour
• Direct Hire!
• Full Benefits Package! CAD Technician Job Description:
  • Use Computer Aided Design (CAD) software to create production drawings from field colleague templates, vector files, and dimensional specifications.
  • Modify and revise existing drawings to reflect design changes or improvements.
  • Assist with project planning and scheduling by providing accurate time estimates for drafting tasks.
  • Ensure all drawings are up-to-date and properly documented.
  • Coordinate with other colleagues to ensure drawings meet customer/project specifications.
  • Maintain an organized file system for production drawings.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to maintain compliance and improve design quality.
  • Make decisions based on work instructions and design tolerances, and refer most questions to your supervisor for accuracy. CAD Technician Job Requirements:
    • Associate's degree or certificate in CAD technology, drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
    • At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
    • Strong technical drawing and drafting skills.
    • Creative problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
    • Solid company-centric ideology, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
