Features.
Key Responsibilities:
Claim feature article topics from a selection of assignments
Research, pitch, and write 2600- to 3000-word articles with a
one-week to one-day turnaround
Follow style guide and editorial standards to maintain content
quality
Required Qualifications:
Background in engineering, mechanics, or experience with an
automaker, dealership, or supplier
Deep understanding of the automotive industry and vehicle
engineering
Minimum three years of editorial experience in writing and/or
editing
Published work on topics such as road safety, autonomous driving,
or engine mechanics
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and familiarity
with the Associated Press Stylebook
